hi, i'm andry. im a mathematics PhD candidate, going into what should be the last year of my program. my plan is to defend my dissertation on periodic solutions of the 3 x 3 compressible Euler equations in spring 2027. specifically, my dissertation includes an abstract scheme for designing such solutions, a number of computational implementations of said scheme, and, in the goal of it being as self-contained as possible, a version of the proof that such solutions exist from a paper by Robin Young (my advisor) and Blake Temple.

i would label my research interests in general as hyperbolic PDEs, conservation laws, fluid dynamics, and functional analysis. the euler equations, though, are of course of key interest for me at the moment since i am still working on my dissertation that focuses on said system.

outside of mathematics, i'm interested in electronic music [although consistently finding the energy to work on producing music is difficult], vintage tech, making weird [primarily digital] art. i also enjoy maimai, the works of stanislaw lem, and the soulsborne games.
